Scrabble & Vintage

I made these Scrabble necklaces this weekend. I used some vintage beads on some. I think R, J and L are my favorite. Oh, that's funny. Those are my daughter's initials!

Angie's been a busy girl! Very cool necklaces! Do you realize you spelled man in the top picture? Is that a "Freudian slip"? Do you ever use your scrabble tiles to spell words on the bracelets? Like, love or hope?

I haven't done "words" yet. I've done itiials of family members and a name (guess that is technically a word). I've thought about the "words" but haven't put the thoughts into action. I was trying to come up with some cute, cool slang words that tweens and teens would like but haven't had much luck. I really need numbers to go with the letters for any I could think of.

You could do the texting abbreviations that the kids use on their phones, like lol (laugh out loud), or bff (best friend forever) or my favorite Tigger saying TTFN (ta ta for now), or as if~that's short enough! Love is my favorite word, and I think a lot of cancer or abuse survivors would identify with hope. Just some of my thoughts~keep up the cool work!
